Dr. David Katzenstein
Dr. David Katzenstein, DSW LCSW-R is a Brooklyn-based licensed psychotherapist who treats adults, couples, children, and adolescents. In his practice, he sees individuals with a host of issues including anxiety, depression, abuse/trauma, behavioral addictions, self-esteem, and family and relationship conflict. Dr. Katzenstein approaches therapy from an insight-oriented framework and believes healing comes from within each client's specific strengths and genuine understanding of the internal mechanisms that are unique to the individual. He has advanced clinical training in a number of modalities- including IFS, ACT, CBT, and EMDR, as well as psychodynamic approaches, and is nationally certified in the treatment of PTSD.
Dr. Katzenstein's in-person office location is in Brooklyn, NY and he is additionally licensed in New Jersey, Florida and Indiana for telehealth services.
